OVERCOME OR OVERCOMER?

(1 John 2:13) . . . you have overcome . . .

Let me ask you a question. Are you overcome or are you an overcomer? Do you easily let people and circumstances get the best of you or do you take your authority in Christ and stand victorious? Are you a pushover or do you keep pushing on in the Lord? Well then . . . come on over and be an overcomer!

OVERCOME?

  • (Rom 12:21) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

  • (2 Pet 2:19) . . . for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

OVERCOMER!

  • (John 16:33) "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

  • (1 John 2:14) I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.

  • (1 John 4:4) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

  • (1 John 5:4-5) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

  • (Num 13:30) Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it."

COME ON OVER!
