THE UNIQUENESS OF THE BIBLE

Updated: Sep 20, 2018

(2 Tim 3:16) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God . . .

Some people might wonder if the Bible is actually the Word of God or just a book of high human inspiration. For the true seeker of the truth consider these facts:

  • The Bible was written by over 40 authors, in 3 languages, on 3 continents, over a span of 1,500 years, and covers hundreds of controversial subjects. Yet, the authors all spoke with agreement . . . there are no contradictions. From Genesis to Revelation, there is one unfolding story . . . God's redemption of mankind.

  • The Bible has stood the test of time. There is no other book in the world that is more widely read or studied or referenced. Today, it remains an all-time best seller, even after hundreds of years, and countless attempts at assaulting its inspiration.

  • Fulfilled prophecies in the Bible attest to the divine inspiration and integrity of the Bible as well as archeological findings, which point to the accurate history of the Bible narrative.

(2 Tim 3:16) . . . and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness . . .

So now read the Bible for yourself and you will find the truth you’ve been searching for your whole life! (John 17:17) It will point to Jesus Christ who is the central theme of the whole Bible (John 5:39) and who is the way, the truth, and the life and the pathway to God through His shed blood on the cross for your sins (John 14:6).

In the Bible you will find all you need for an understanding of God’s love for you and His will for your life. It is profitable for every area of your life and what you are experiencing and what you are going through. It will equip you to walk in truth and righteousness in a world filled with lies and deception and a lot of dead-end philosophies on how to live.

Stand on the solid foundation of God’s Word and watch how your life will be unshaken by tragedy or trial. Devote your life to the reading of the Bible and experience the truth changing you and strengthening you for daily living and fulfilling God’s marvelous objectives for your future (1 John 2:14). Jesus loves you and the truth will set you free! (John 8:32)

(Psa 119:97) Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
